A lot of us here really like cars and the automotive world. This thread is for sharing pics of cars you like or dislike. Cool cars, ugly cars, sexy cars, whatever. So, if your friends have some cool cars, or you've recently been to a car show or meet, or just want to talk about cars in general, feel free to do so here. That way the "Pictures of YOUR car" (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1073387) thread can continue to be where people post their own personal cars, and this thread will be for all the other stuff.

The new BMW M5 Concept was revealed today. Like many of BMW's concepts, though, the real car will look very similar to this when revealed. I love the look of the new F10 5-series, and this new M version is even better. Great looking, as usual from the M Division...

Also, Pagani has recently revealed the car that will replace the aging Zonda. That was an utterly amazing car, so it will take a lot to top that. With the new Huayra, though, it seems as though they did. Not quite as flamboyant and wild as the Zonda, but hardly any less sexy. This is a SPECTACULAR looking car, and the interior is possibly my favorite on any road car, EVER!! Amazing....

As mentioned before, iPhone has continually been compared to Android as platform rather than manufacturer's phone to phone.
The only people who want to compare it that way are apple fans. The rest of the world rightfully compare it according to device. Smartphone OS to smartphone OS.

Since doing a little more research into it and taking the comments on this forum into account I have changed my opinion on whether or not macs should form part of our IT infrastructure. It would seem that the real world problems of planning for the future, ensuring user productivity and product support, not to mention the capital outlay issues are going to trump any warm fuzzy feelings that I may get from working with my mac at home. Being an engineering firm, the majority of our specialist software is, for the foreseeable future, going to be written for Windows only.
Most importantly then, the positive user experience I have at home will almost certainly not carry over to the workplace and will more than likely only generate further frustration for other non-mac users. I currently have enough trouble simply trying to ensure compatibility between Excel '07 files and Excel '03. Adding Excel for Mac files into the mix will no doubt simply introduce another layer of complexity which is certainly not beneficial. This is indicative of many of the 'small' problems that are typically faced every day in the office, again, no thank you to having any more of those.
While I wish the warm fuzzy feeling I get from using my mac at home could be translated into my working day experience, the fact of the matter at the moment is that facilitating this is just not practical or feasible and in a mixed PC / MAC environment not very likely to happen.
The fanboy in me hopes that someday this will get sorted out, but I am not going to hold my breath.

I spend all day writing reports, specifications, data sheets, e-mails to clients and suppliers etc. All of which require dotting every I and crossing every T from a grammar point of view. Try telling the boomers that their ss contributions weren't for them but for their now deceased parents to live off of and that there is nothing left for them. Not a vote winner. Healthcare reform is the only way. Other nations achieve much better results in both healthcare and education with less money. Unfortunately there is also a lot of debt to be paid back which will be expensive when rates rise. More pain to come. Raise taxes and cut spending.

Apple shouldn't be able to do anything.
Apple cannot do anything directly against TJ Maxx as long as they make no false claims such as being an approved Apple seller, or stating false claims about the product and warranty. At most, put them on a banned list and make not selling to TJ Maxx part of their "Approved Reseller" conditions.
The people who sold to TJ Maxx could be in trouble, however.
Now, if Apple's warranty includes a line about it must be bought from an approved seller, etc, they might be able null the warranty on anyone who's iPad is found to be from TJ Maxx, but that depends in part on the state, and if the warranty has such a line.

It's worth noting that SUV and truck sales are growing again as the economy slowly recovers. All the hype about green vehicles that came out at the height of the recession might evaporate if people have money to burn again. Americans won't stop buying V6 and V8 SUVs until fuel prices permanently cross the $4/gal threshold.

If you think you need a new battery get a new one and replace the current one.
As far as if I had known this: How about realizing that technology advances all the time and from the time you get it in your hands it's obsolete?
And, Apple never promised YOU that there will be an iphone5 when you want to buy one.
They did however put out a beautiful iphone4 that you can decide to buy or not. Not only that, you can do that any time, imagine that!
There, all your problems solved in under 2 minutes!

Well, I have to say that I was getting pretty tired of all the iPhone rumors day after day.
But now that they're talking about a totally DIFFERENT phone than the one we know nothing about...well that's much better! :D
