The case status message for mine and my wife's EAD changed to Card production ordered. It did not change to Approval notice sent. I received the EAD cards within 1 week of the Card Production e-mail. However my lawyer received the Approval notices (wife and mine) first week of October.

Hi,
1. Valid H1-B stamping, expiring in 2010
2. Trying to renewe EAD/AP (Didn't use both until now).
3. Instructions of I-131 has the following statement
If you travel before the advance parole document is issued, your application will be deemed abandoned if:
A. You depart from the United States; or
B. The person seeking advance parole attempts to enter the United States before a decision is made on the application.
My question:
1. Does my applying for renewal of EAD and AP affect my travel?

Hello,
I am currently working for employer A on a 6th year H1 with approved 140 petition. MY current H1 is expiring June 2010. In the meantime I got an good offer from employer B who applied for H1 transfer using my approved 140 petition and I got an RFE. My question is god forbid , that if my H1 transfer petition is denied with employer B , can I continue working for Current employer A and if he can file for my H1 extension, come June? Also would there be any recursions, considering i already applied the H1 transfer now with the new employer ?
Please advice and i thank you in advance

For the past few months, there have been no green cards available for persons in the employment-based third preference category (EB-3) and long backlogs in the EB-2 category for persons born in India and China. So, with few green cards to grant, why has the USCIS been scheduling interviews for persons in these categories? Though my employer is located in Kansas, we got TSC receipts and now when I extended my EAD, I got NSC's receipts...(heard it is lreatde to laod sharing among SC's)
BTW Is this a big deal in approving 485???
Anyways, can someone pls direct me(if there is thread covering 2004 approvals) or share your thoughts around PD 2004 approvals?

I had a question about using using AC21.
Here is the scenario: Let us say I work for XYZ Brothers who applied for my 140 and 485. I have approved 140, H-1b, EAD and AP.
If XYZ laid me off or I left them for career progression or more money 180 days after my 485 was filed and 140 approved what happens to my 485 application?
Wouldnt USCIS question that since my sponsoring employer does not exist anymore, who am I going to work for once I get my green card? or is this coverd under AC21?
Please advice!

My I-140 was approved from Nebraska service center, but my attorney sent my I-485 case to Texas. I came across few people here on IV who have experienced the same.
Did USCIS provide any information regarding this? If so could you provide the link?

My husband was an employee of a desi company and they had withheld part of his salary, he filed a complaint at the DOL and got the pending money back.. that was 4 years back.. now he is trying to change his job and the new employer wants to do his background check..
what will show up in his background check? will the case against his employer affect him? we are really worried about this.
