I heard you can file Perm only if you are on H1 or other status and not on EAD (AOS Pending I485).
That is not true....
You certainly can file new PERM while on EAD. So go ahead and do EB3-EB2 porting...

Hello,
I have recently moved and did an Address update for my I 485 online this weekend. I noticed that there are LUDs on my EAD and AP application (I did not do an address update for these as these applications are not pending, I have received both few months ago).
Did anyone else experience a similar issue?
P.S Admins - I tried searching for any similar posts but the verification image doesnt display on my browser and i couldnt get any results. Please feel free to move this thread around or redirect to an existing one.

Any advantage of opening an account on USCIS website to receive automatic case status updates? or I don't need to do that if I keep checking the status online by myself?
They send you and email if something changes, nice if you have a Blackberry/pda
If you have multiple cases i-129, i-131, i-140, i-485 you can see them all on one page, I find that easier to see LUDs in particular the "soft" non-action ones, but it's nice to know the file was touched.

Are you telling it because of 2 year home residency rule and getting waivers?

I was wondering if this recession could turn out to be a silver lining for those of EB2-I,C who manage to survive it. Come to think of it, with all these job losses theres bound to be a downturn in hiring - resulting in lesser number of EB1 and EB2 ROW applications. This means more could overflow to EB2 I and eventually EB3 (I,C and ROW) survivors will benefit to.
Although we also need to remember that the H1B quota will still get filled up on Apr 1 - recession or not. So don't really know how this would turn out.
What are your opinions folks?

but as far as the AD is concerned, an AD is for a position not for a person, if 1 AD satisfy the skill set and available position then one AD can work for multiple positions.

My H1b got Approved and starts from OCT 1st and OPT Extension Expires in July 1st week.
I am travelling to India for 2 weeks in next month.
